Terms of service

Effective October 11, 2026

These terms apply to every quote, order and use of this website from Hyprion Fabrication LLC, a 3D printing business based in Texas ("Hyprion Fabrication", "we", "us"). By requesting a quote or placing an order, you ("you", the customer) agree to them. You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.

1. Quotes and orders

  • Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
  • An order is confirmed only when you approve the quote and we receive payment (or an agreed deposit).
  • Your approved quote and these terms are our whole agreement for that order. If they conflict, the quote controls.
  • Every quote includes an estimated ship date. If we can't ship by that date, we'll tell you before it passes, give you a new date, and you may cancel for a full refund.

2. Pricing and payment

  • Prices are in US dollars. Texas sales tax is added where required. Business customers buying for resale, or tax-exempt organizations, can send a completed Texas resale or exemption certificate (Form 01-339).
  • Shipping is charged as a separate line on your quote.
  • We may require a deposit for large, business or custom-design orders. The deposit is applied to your final invoice.

3. Your files and intellectual property

  • You keep ownership of the designs you send us. We use them only to quote and fill your orders.
  • By sending a file, you confirm that you own it or have permission to have it printed, including any characters, logos or trademarks in it.
  • You agree to cover any claims, costs or damages that arise because a design you sent infringes someone else's rights.
  • If we create a design for you, you own the parts we print. We keep ownership of the design file itself, but we won't sell it or print it for anyone else. If you need to own the file outright, tell us and we'll include that in your quote.

4. What we won't print

We don't print weapons, firearms or firearm parts and accessories, items meant to cause harm, or anything illegal to make or own. We also decline designs that appear to infringe intellectual property. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion and will refund any payment for work not done.

5. Nature of 3D-printed parts

  • Printed parts show layer lines and small surface marks where supports were removed. This is normal and not a defect.
  • Dimensions can vary slightly from the digital model. Tell us about any critical dimensions before printing so we can account for them.
  • Colors can differ slightly between material batches and from how they look on a screen.

6. Intended use and safety

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our parts are not intended for safety-critical uses, including child safety products, vehicle safety systems, medical or dental use in or on the body, food contact, or load-bearing parts where failure could cause injury or damage. We can recommend materials based on what you tell us, but you're responsible for confirming a part is suitable for your application.

7. Limited guarantee

We guarantee that your parts match the approved quote (material, color and quantity) and are free of printing defects for 30 days after delivery. If they aren't, we'll reprint or refund the affected parts as described in our Refunds and Returns policy. This is our only express guarantee.

Consumers: any implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the same 30 days.

Business customers: except for this limited guarantee, parts are provided "as is", and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we're not liable for incidental or consequential damages such as lost profits or downtime.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

9. Confidentiality

We treat your files and project details as confidential. We're happy to sign a reasonable non-disclosure agreement before you send files.

10. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays caused by events we can't reasonably control, such as severe weather, power outages, carrier disruptions or material shortages. If one affects your order, we'll tell you, and you may cancel for a full refund of any work not yet done.

11. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
  • If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • We may update these terms. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
